Day 1

Arrive in Sandur from closest airport – airport transfer available at an additional cost.
Check in to the resplendent Shivavilas Palace
Enjoy barbecue dinner at the poolside against the backdrop of the palace’s architectural delights Spend the night at the Shivavilas Palace

Day 2

Leave for a guided half day tour to discover the rich history and beauty of Sandur, after breakfast.
Return to the palace to experience the local delicacies from the region, cooked in royal signature style, over a sumptuous lunch.
After a short rest, take a guided tour of the lambani art gallery, to discover the fine craftsmanship of the lambanis and maybe learn a skill in the process.
Return to the palace for an evening of relaxation and early dinner.

Day 3

Embark on a tour to the UNESCO world heritage site of Hampi with a leading historian and guide. Spend the day discovering the history and monoliths of Hampi.
Enjoy a packed lunch, picnic style at the site.
Return to the palace for early dinner and relaxation.
Check out after breakfast next morning and drive back to the closest airport for departure.

The cost provided is based on 14 guests. In case the number of guests reduce to below 14 pax, the tour cost may vary slightly.

The tour is experienced best on foot. Hence, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.
Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities.
In case, you need special assistance, please do get in touch with us to know your options.
Each walk can range from 30mins to a few hours, with breaks planned in between.
Cotton clothing and a hat is preferred to prevent the heat of the day.
Please wear clothes that cover your knees and shoulders as you will visit areas of worship during the tour.
Evenings will be pleasant and cool.
We aim to provide breaks for rest with refreshments during our walk, however as these are heritage walks, the closest break point may be a distance away.

Cancellation Policy - This experience is non-refundable upon purchase, unless otherwise noted.

Payment transactions to be made using MasterCard only. Other cards will not be accepted for this tour.
1st Instalment 50% advance payment 20 days upon booking confirmation - non-refundable.
2nd Instalment 50% balance to be paid 15 days in advance of the tour - Non-Refundable.
